Steve RaburnJr. hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as RaburnJr. tossed a shutout to carry the Hawaii Stars (25-27) to a 2-0 victory over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (31-27) at Iron Maehara Stadium.
The Hawaii Stars' RaburnJr. kept the Maui Na Koa Ikaika off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up five.
Eri Yoshida couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
