The Maui Na Koa Ikaika (5-8) and the Sonoma County Grapes (6-7) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Maui Na Koa Ikaika that eventually took advantage of them in a 4-3 win at Iron Maehara Stadium.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika staved off the Sonoma County Grapes as the Sonoma County Grapes were unable to match the Maui Na Koa Ikaika down the stretch.

The Sonoma County Grapes scored one run in the eighth on an RBI single by George Ban. Still, the Sonoma County Grapes couldn't draw even.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika were led by Keith Kandell's hitting. Kandell went 2-3 and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Matt Walker got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Daniel March (1-2) took the loss for the Sonoma County Grapes. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
