The San Rafael Pacifics (17-11) and the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (14-14) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the San Rafael Pacifics capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-3 win at Albert Park.

Steve Boggs racked up four RBIs on two hits for the San Rafael Pacifics. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth innings.

Brian Gump kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Maui Na Koa Ikaika batters. Gump allowed two earned runs, eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Eri Yoshida ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
