Five first-inning runs helped the San Rafael Pacifics (15-9) to an 8-4 win over the Sonoma County Grapes (9-15) at Albert Park on Sunday.

Chase Fontaine racked up three RBIs on two hits for the San Rafael Pacifics. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second inning.

Samuel Perry got on base four times in the game for the Sonoma County Grapes. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

Jake Rasner got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Matthew Gibbs ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
