The Sonoma County Grapes (3-3) and the San Rafael Pacifics (3-3) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Sonoma County Grapes capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at Albert Park.

The Sonoma County Grapes held off the San Rafael Pacifics, as the San Rafael Pacifics were unable to overcome a four-run seventh inning deficit.

The San Rafael Pacifics scored three runs in the ninth on an RBI double by Johnny Woodard, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Tomochika Tsuboi. Despite their efforts, the San Rafael Pacifics couldn't finish the comeback.

Samuel Perry reached base two times in the game for the Sonoma County Grapes. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth inning.

The Sonoma County Grapes relied on Dustin Crenshaw to eat up innings en route to the win. Crenshaw allowed no earned runs, 10 hits and three walks while striking out two over 7 2/3 innings of work.

Matthew Durkin couldn't get it done on the mound for the San Rafael Pacifics, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
