Chad Gabriel knocked in four runs, helping the Fort Worth Cats (9-4) to a 6-3 victory over the San Angelo Colts (8-5) on Sunday at LaGrave Field.

Ronnie Gaines was solid at the plate for the San Angelo Colts. Gaines went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

Steve Barnes improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Fort Worth Cats. He allowed two runs over five innings. Barnes struck out four, walked four and gave up five hits.

Chris Peacock (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
