An excellent effort by Brett Maus carried the DuPage County Hounds (20-20) to a 6-1 win over the Rockford Foresters (8-32) on Friday at Marinelli Field.
Maus struck out eight hitters en route to the the DuPage County Hounds win. Maus allowed one earned run on six hits and three walks over nine innings.
Joey White did his best to jumpstart the offense for the DuPage County Hounds, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Jacob Lanning (1-5) took the loss for the Rockford Foresters. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out six.
