The Will County CrackerJacks get key pinch-hit in 14-13 victory over the Northwest Indiana Oilmen

Case Munson was cold coming off the bench, but Munson warmed up quickly as Munson stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the Will County CrackerJacks (14-6) to a 14-13 win over the Northwest Indiana Oilmen (14-7) on Wednesday at Oil City Stadium.

With the Will County CrackerJacks trailing by two, Munson came to the plate and singled, bringing home John Menken.

The Will County CrackerJacks found themselves down in the ninth inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.

Shaun McGraw was hot from the plate for the Will County CrackerJacks. McGraw went 0-0 and scored one run. He doubled in the ninth inning.

The two teams combined for 27 runs and 25 hits, including zero extra base hits.

Even though Austin Carden allowed eight runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. Carden struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Jim Hinklemen was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Will County CrackerJacks' Mitch Elliott, Michael Vilardo and Munson combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
