A walk-off error from Charles Gould brought home the winning run for the DuPage County Hounds (10-9) in an 11-10 victory over the DeKalb County Liners (11-6) at Benedictine Stadium on Friday.

Gould reached base three times in the game for the DuPage County Hounds. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eighth inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 21 runs and 19 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were seven pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

It was a good day at the plate for the DuPage County Hounds' Gary Mayberry. Mayberry went 3-6, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Joey Burney racked up four RBIs on one hit for the DeKalb County Liners. He homered in the fifth inning.

X Rodriguez recorded his first win of the year for the DuPage County Hounds. He allowed three runs over 3 1/3 innings. Rodriguez struck out five, walked five and gave up three hits.

Brody Justice couldn't get it done on the hill for the DeKalb County Liners, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
