Jake OBrien boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Will County CrackerJacks. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings.
The Will County CrackerJacks got the win thanks in large part to Matt Borens's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Borens allowed three earned runs on seven hits and four walks over eight innings.
Sean Hudson was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Will County CrackerJacks batters and allowing zero runs.
