The DuPage County Hounds take out the DeKalb County Liners with help from Keim, 5-2

The DuPage County Hounds (8-6) beat the DeKalb County Liners (11-5) 5-2 on Wednesday at Founders Field behind Josh Keim, who collected three hits.

He doubled in the eighth inning and singled in the second and ninth innings.

Cody Simon was hot from the plate for the DeKalb County Liners. Simon went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Daniel Will improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the DuPage County Hounds. He allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings. Will struck out five, walked four and gave up six hits.

Tanner Funke (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
