Tait Rauen held the Illinois Lincolns (7-6) scoreless for six innings to boost the Northwest Indiana Oilmen (12-3) to a 7-6 victory.

Rauen struck out seven and allowed three walks and four hits.

The Northwest Indiana Oilmen found themselves down in the ninth inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.

Bennett Oliver was hot from the plate for the Northwest Indiana Oilmen. Oliver went 2-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and ninth innings.

John Loeffler put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Northwest Indiana Oilmen. He doubled in the second, third, and seventh innings.

Josh Stowe got his second win for the Northwest Indiana Oilmen despite allowing six runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Anthony Battaglia was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
