Adam Brush threw seven scoreless innings to lift the Hannibal Cavemen (12-9) to a 6-0 win over the Quincy Gems (12-9) at QU Stadium.
The Hannibal Cavemen blew out the Quincy Gems thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Hannibal Cavemen scored two runs in the sixth on an error and a sacrifice fly by Spencer Anderson.
Randy Villa paced the Hannibal Cavemen at the plate. Villa went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Nick Hibbing was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
