Matt Larkins held the Fort Worth Cats (42-35) scoreless for nine innings to boost the Abilene Prairie Dogs (31-45) to a 5-0 victory.

Larkins allowed nine hits, one walk and struck out four.

Zach Crosswhite was hot from the plate for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. Crosswhite went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

James Giulietti (3-6) took the loss for the Fort Worth Cats. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
