The McAllen Thunder (23-40) scored four runs in the seventh to cap a 10-3 win over the Edinburg Roadrunners (39-24) on Sunday.

Craig Hertler racked up four RBIs on two hits for the McAllen Thunder. He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Stantrel Smith was hot from the plate for the Edinburg Roadrunners. Smith went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Frank James got the win, running his season record to 5-5. He allowed three runs over eight innings. James struck out three, walked none and gave up 11 hits.

Dave Dineli was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
