Cristobal Santana went 2-4, helping the Edinburg Roadrunners (21-13) to a 6-2 victory over the Abilene Prairie Dogs (14-19) on Thursday at Edinburg Stadium.

The Edinburg Roadrunners relied on Miguel Martinez to eat up innings en route to the win. Martinez allowed two earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Zach Welch racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Woods Fines (1-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
