Wilmer Pino was solid at the plate for the Edinburg Roadrunners. Pino went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Ryan Smith handled the Fort Worth Cats' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Smith allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over six innings.

Rusty Jones improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Jones struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

James Giulietti (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
