The Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (49-38) beat the San Angelo Colts (46-42) 8-3 on Sunday at Foster Field behind Robert Moron, who drove in three runs.

Reymond Cruz racked up eight strikeouts in the the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings win. Cruz allowed one earned run on six hits and three walks over seven innings.

Landon Camp was hot from the plate for the San Angelo Colts. Camp went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Mike Hart (6-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
