Both the San Angelo Colts (40-40) and the Edinburg Roadrunners (48-32) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the San Angelo Colts that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-2 win at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

J.J. Sherrill had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and second innings.

Mark Willinsky struck out seven hitters en route to the the San Angelo Colts win. Willinsky allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Despite the loss, the Edinburg Roadrunners' Aaron Tullo dominated the San Angelo Colts' batters, giving up three runs and striking out 11.

Tullo couldn't get it done on the bump for the Edinburg Roadrunners, taking a loss.
