The Abilene Prairie Dogs (28-40) and the San Angelo Colts (35-34) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Abilene Prairie Dogs that eventually took advantage of them in a 4-2 win at Foster Field.

The Abilene Prairie Dogs held off the San Angelo Colts, as the San Angelo Colts were unable to overcome a three-run sixth inning deficit.

The San Angelo Colts scored one run in the eighth on a groundout by Jason Crosland. Despite their efforts, the San Angelo Colts couldn't get over the hump.

The Abilene Prairie Dogs' Jason Martin was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the third and ninth innings.

Billy Petrick racked up nine strikeouts in the the Abilene Prairie Dogs win. Petrick allowed one earned run on nine hits and one walk over eight innings.

Logan Williamson was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
