Jacob Cuch was cold coming off the bench, but Cuch warmed up quickly as Cuch stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Giants AA (7-4) to a 12-10 win over the Rockies AA (6-7) on Tuesday at Glenmore #3.

With the game scoreless in the first inning Cuch came to the plate and singled.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 22 total runs and 12 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were six pitchers used in the game.

The Giants AA got their bats going early, scoring five runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Rockies AA.

Cole Beattie led the Giants AA's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and seventh innings.

Cuch got his second win for the Giants AA despite allowing six runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Mark Freeman (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
