The Donkey Punch All Stars (13-5) jumped out to an early lead on the Sleestacks (13-7) and captured a 22-0 victory on Saturday at Bellport Field #2.

With 22 runs in the first three innings, the Donkey Punch All Stars left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Ben Machewski, an RBI single by Dave Lopez, and an RBI single by Vinny Mercogliano during the first inning and an RBI single by Anthony Alaia in the second inning helped the Donkey Punch All Stars put some runs on the board early.

Lopez racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Donkey Punch All Stars.

John Hoagland improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Donkey Punch All Stars. Hoagland struck out none, walked none and gave up five hits.

Dave Tellerman was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 22 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Donkey Punch All Stars easily handled the Sleestacks pitching as nine hitters combined for 23 hits, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
