The bats were busy at Granny Road on Friday, and when the dust cleared the BALLS DEEP (16-8) had a 15-12 win over the TFA Comets (14-10) in four innings.
The teams totaled 34 hits in the game.
The BALLS DEEP got their bats going early, scoring seven runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the TFA Comets.
The BALLS DEEP's Bill Beisler was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.
Moe Flannery racked up four RBIs on two hits for the TFA Comets. He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.
Even though Jamie Taylor allowed 12 runs over four innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. Taylor struck out none, walked none and gave up 15 hits.
Bob Giordano was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in four innings, walked none and struck out one.
The BALLS DEEP pounded the TFA Comets pitching, as eight hitters combined for 18 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
