Garren Palmer paced the Alexandria Aces at the plate. Palmer went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.
The Alexandria Aces relied on Devin Malone to eat up innings en route to the win. Malone pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out four.
Sean Kennel (3-7) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
