The Acadiana Cane Cutters (27-30) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the East Texas Pump Jacks (37-21), and the Acadiana Cane Cutters lost 4-3 to the East Texas Pump Jacks after falling behind by four runs in the second inning.

The Acadiana Cane Cutters scored three runs in the third on an RBI double by Alex Marse and a two-run error. Despite their efforts, the Acadiana Cane Cutters couldn't finish the comeback.

Corey Ray improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the East Texas Pump Jacks. He allowed three runs over six innings. Ray struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Kaleb Manual (6-4) took the loss for the Acadiana Cane Cutters. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
