Rene Moreda knocked in three runs as the Alexandria Aces (17-21) took home an 11-6 victory over the McKinney Marshals (11-26) in seven innings at Bringhurst Field on Friday.

Travis Schuetze was hot from the plate for the McKinney Marshals. Schuetze went 2-4 and scored three runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ben Frith recorded his third win for the Alexandria Aces even though he allowed six runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered 11 hits.

Blake Douglas was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out six.
