Kaleb Manual pitched eight shutout innings to lift the Acadiana Cane Cutters (15-14) to a 1-0 win over the Woodlands Strykers (8-19) at Fabacher Field.

Ladd Rhodes helped the Acadiana Cane Cutters take the lead for good in the seventh inning. With the game scoreless in the seventh inning Rhodes came to the plate and singled, bringing home Adam Seal.

Brady Rodriguez couldn't get it done on the hill for the Woodlands Strykers, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
