Shaun Hoover had two extra base hits, sparking the Woodlands Strykers (5-11) to a 4-1 victory in seven innings over the Brazos Valley Bombers (11-5) on Thursday at Strykers Stadium.

Taylor Holt looked sharp on the mound. The Brazos Valley Bombers managed just three hits off of the the Woodlands Strykers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Luis Dejesus (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
