Jordan Hammerman brought home the winning run to give the Brazos Valley Bombers (11-5) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Brazos Valley Bombers hung on to beat the McKinney Marshals (2-14) 9-6 on Thursday.

Hammerman racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He singled in the seventh inning.

Adam Pena led the Brazos Valley Bombers' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

The McKinney Marshals couldn't get anything going as long as Derrick Mazzio was on the mound. The McKinney Marshals managed just three hits off of the the Brazos Valley Bombers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Andrew Massey couldn't get it done on the mound for the McKinney Marshals, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
