An ace performance by Derrick Hadley led the Woodlands Strykers (11-25) to a 6-1 win over the Alexandria Aces (17-21) on Thursday at Bringhurst Field.

The Alexandria Aces couldn't get anything going as long as Hadley was pitching. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of Hadley, who allowed one earned run, walked seven and struck out 10 during his eight innings of work.

Michael Aquino racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Woodlands Strykers. He homered in the second inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Nathan Hale reached base three times.

Devin Malone (2-2) took the loss for the Alexandria Aces. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
