Mike Bernal drove in the winning run to give the Wisconsin Woodchucks (39-21) the lead in the ninth inning, as the Wisconsin Woodchucks hung on to beat the Lakeshore Chinooks (31-29) 3-1 on Thursday.

Bernal racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He homered in the third inning and singled in the ninth innings.

Jack Fischer baffled the Lakeshore Chinooks, striking out seven batters. Fischer allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over six innings.

Jackson Lowery improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Rex Morrow (1-1) took the loss for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
