The Waterloo Bucks make the most of 6 hits in 6-4 victory over the Duluth Huskies

The Waterloo Bucks (31-29) and the Duluth Huskies (33-27) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Waterloo Bucks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-4 win at Wade Stadium.

The fact that the Waterloo Bucks grouped all of their runs into the fourth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

The Waterloo Bucks would not relinquish the lead as the Duluth Huskies were unable to weather a three-run fourth inning deficit.

The Duluth Huskies scored one run in the eighth on an RBI double by Conor Szczerba. Despite their efforts, the Duluth Huskies couldn't finish the comeback.

Connor McClain did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Waterloo Bucks, reaching base three times. He also drove in two runners. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Conan Leon recorded his first win of the year for the Waterloo Bucks. Leon struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Max MacNabb (3-3) took the loss for the Duluth Huskies. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked one and struck out two.
