A walk-off error from Colin Willis brought home the winning run for the Battle Creek Bombers (14-19) in a 7-6 victory over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (15-17) in 10 innings at C.O. Brown Stadium on Monday.
Willis paced the Battle Creek Bombers at the plate. Willis went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.
Kyle Teague recorded his second win of the year for the Battle Creek Bombers. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits.
Seth Fuller was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
