A walk-off double from Treyson Vavra brought home the winning run for the Duluth Huskies (16-14) in a 6-5 victory over the Waterloo Bucks (19-13) at Wade Stadium on Sunday.
Vavra racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings and doubled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Jordan Adams was solid at the plate for the Waterloo Bucks. Adams went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.
Michael Gunn recorded his first win of the year for the Duluth Huskies. He allowed one run over three innings. Gunn struck out four, walked one and gave up two hits.
Kellen Camus was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
