A walk-off sacrifice fly from Brendon Hayden brought home the winning run for the Wisconsin Woodchucks (15-14) in a 5-4 victory over the Eau Claire Express at Athletic Park on Thursday.
Hayden racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He singled in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings.
The Eau Claire Express (9-20) had no answer for Jackson Lowery, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Lowery held the Eau Claire Express hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Bryan Crabb (0-1) took the loss for the Eau Claire Express. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed one run.
