A magnificent effort by Seth Webster hoisted the Mankato MoonDogs (25-7) to a 3-0 win over the Rochester Honkers (13-19) on Sunday at Franklin Rogers Park.
The Mankato MoonDogs' Webster kept the Rochester Honkers off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up eight.
Craig Massoni led the Mankato MoonDogs' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
Carl ONeal (0-1) took the loss for the Rochester Honkers. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
