The Thunder Bay Border Cats (5-8) and the St. Cloud Rox (5-7) volleyed the lead six times on Monday, but the Thunder Bay Border Cats came out on top for a 10-5 win on Monday at Subway Field.

It was a good day at the plate for the Thunder Bay Border Cats' Brett Kay. Kay went 4-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings.

Wes Parsons improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He allowed four runs over five innings. Parsons struck out two, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Alex Roberts (0-3) took the loss for the St. Cloud Rox. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out two.

The Thunder Bay Border Cats hammered the St. Cloud Rox pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, six RBIs and 10 runs scored.
