The Duluth Huskies (16-14) beat the Rochester Honkers (13-19) 9-1 on Friday at Wade Stadium after a six-run explosion in the first inning.

Austin Dubberly got on base four times in the game for the Duluth Huskies. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Nathan Garza baffled the Rochester Honkers, striking out eight batters. The Duluth Huskies' pitcher gave up just three hits over four shutout innings.

Austin Perez got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed one run over five innings. Perez struck out three, walked two and gave up five hits.

Brandon Zywicki couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rochester Honkers, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked two and struck out one.
