Cole Webb held the Madison Mallards (3-4) scoreless for six innings to boost the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (4-3) to a 2-0 victory.

Webb struck out two and allowed four walks and four hits.

Dan Douglas pushed the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. Joshua Cyr reached on an error to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Sean Godfrey. Finally, Douglas came to the plate with the game scoreless in the seventh inning and singled, bringing home Cyr and Godfrey.

Tommy Danczyk improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Danczyk struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Sam Forkert was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
