The Willmar Stingers (19-13) beat the Rochester Honkers (13-19) 7-1 on Tuesday at Mayo Field after a four-run explosion in the eighth inning.

Hunter Dozier racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Willmar Stingers. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

The Willmar Stingers relied on Scott Lieser to eat up innings en route to the win. Lieser pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out four.

Chris Noble couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rochester Honkers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
