Numata's single gives the Wisconsin Woodchucks walk-off win over the La Crosse Loggers, 6-5

A walk-off single from Chevas Numata brought home the winning run for the Wisconsin Woodchucks (3-3) in a 6-5 victory over the La Crosse Loggers (3-3) at Athletic Park on Monday.

Numata was solid at the plate for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Numata went 2-5 and scored one run. He singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Greg Hamrock was hot from the plate for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Hamrock went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Juliene Jones was hot from the plate for the La Crosse Loggers. Jones went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, fourth, and ninth innings.

Jackson Lowery improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Lowery struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.

Dan Sayles ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
