The Alaska Goldpanners (6-1) pounded the Midnight Suns (0-2) on Sunday 7-0 at Growden Memorial Park in seven innings.

The Alaska Goldpanners scored three runs in the first on an RBI single by Casey Munoz, an RBI double by Matt Nadolski, and an RBI double by Kurt Schlangen.

Nadolski racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alaska Goldpanners.

Brandon Cutsforth pitched lights out for the Alaska Goldpanners. The Midnight Suns managed just two hits off of Cutsforth, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Steve Shaver was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.
