The New Jersey Jackals (56-38) beat the Rockland Boulders (43-50) 8-1 on Sunday thanks to a five-run seventh inning.

Nick Giarraputo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Steve Fox picked up the win for the New Jersey Jackals. Fox allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

The Rockland Boulders were led by Phillip Cuadrado's hitting. Cuadrado went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Gustavo Chacin (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
