Saturday was a great day for Bobby Blevins, as Blevins pitched 8 1/3 shutout innings to carry the Rockland Boulders (39-34) to a 1-0 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones at Provident Bank Park.

Brian Grening allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Keith Brachold helped the Rockland Boulders pull ahead for the duration in the seventh inning. With the game scoreless in the seventh inning Brachold came to the plate and homered.

Brachold paced the Rockland Boulders at the plate. Brachold went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Grening was charged with the loss.
