The Worcester Tornadoes get on top of the Quebec Capitales early but can't hang on in 6-5 loss

The Worcester Tornadoes (21-52) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-5 to the Quebec Capitales (47-26) on Saturday.

An RBI single by Jonathan Malo gave the Quebec Capitales the lead in the ninth inning.

Josh Garton was solid at the plate for the Quebec Capitales. Garton went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the eighth inning.

Tony Davis recorded his second win of the year for the Quebec Capitales. Davis struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Cam Kneeland couldn't get it done on the bump for the Worcester Tornadoes, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
