A walk-off single from Cory Morales brought home the winning run for the Sioux Falls Pheasants in a 3-2 victory over the Quebec Capitales in 12 innings at Sioux Falls Stadium on Thursday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Sioux Falls Pheasants' Morales. Morales went 2-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the twelfth inning.

Reggie Abercrombie had two extra-base hits for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He tripled in the sixth inning.

The Quebec Capitales (45-26) had no answer for Kyle Mertins, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Mertins held the Quebec Capitales hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Dusty Gober got the win for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He pitched one shutout inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Guillaume Leduc (2-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
