The Rockland Boulders (32-27) shut the door early on the Worcester Tornadoes (17-42), capturing a 12-3 victory on Friday at Provident Bank Park.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Rockland Boulders left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Phillip Cuadrado, an RBI single by Ryan Scoma, , and an RBI single by Cole Kraft in the first inning fueled the Rockland Boulders' offense early.

Cuadrado racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Rockland Boulders.

Jonathan Velasquez picked up the win for the Rockland Boulders. Velasquez pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out two.

Jerod Edmondson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Worcester Tornadoes. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.
