Landis Wilson collected three hits, helping the Rockland Boulders (30-27) to a 5-1 victory over the Newark Bears (17-41) on Wednesday at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.

Will Hassett picked up the win for the Rockland Boulders. Hassett allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Orlando Mercado had a hot bat for the Newark Bears. Mercado went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Brian Parker (1-6) took the loss for the Newark Bears. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
