Cuadrado gives the Rockland Boulders late push to beat the Newark Bears, 4-2

Phillip Cuadrado brought home the go-ahead run to give the Rockland Boulders (29-27) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Rockland Boulders hung on to beat the Newark Bears (17-40) 4-2 on Tuesday.

After Qualon Millender singled, Cuadrado hit a sacrifice fly, bringing home Millender.

Gustavo Chacin handled the Newark Bears' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Chacin allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.

MacKenzie King got the win, running his season record to 3-1. King struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Kyle Morrison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
