The Rockland Boulders get key pinch-hit in 11-6 victory over the Quebec Capitales

Landis Wilson was cold coming off the bench, but Wilson warmed up quickly as Wilson stroked a key pinch-hit double in the four to lead the Rockland Boulders (24-25) to an 11-6 win over the Quebec Capitales (33-17) on Tuesday at Provident Bank Park.

With the Rockland Boulders trailing by one in the fourth inning, Wilson came to the plate and doubled.

Chris Valencia was hot from the plate for the Rockland Boulders. Valencia went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Jonathan Velasquez picked up the win for the Rockland Boulders. Velasquez pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out six.

Bryan Rembisz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
